MoveMor® Mobility Trainer

A Holistic Approach to Better Movement

Multiplanar resistance training is designed to strengthen the joints, nerves and muscles of the sensorimotor system responsible for balance, movement, and fall prevention.

Target the many risk factors of falls all at once for better mobility in less time without the headaches.

With each step you take, the nerves in your feet and ankles send thousands of sensory signals to your brain about the ever-changing environment.

Your brain then tells your body how to react to changes in direction or motion to stay upright and balanced.

Training through a full range of motion increases joint mobility to send more signals to your brain while also strengthening your muscles to respond faster to prevent injuries and falls.

Joints

Joints provide the flexible structure for movement and play a sensory role foundational for balance. Healthy joints are both mobile and stable. Mobile joints are able to move freely through a full range of motion uninhibited by tight tissues. Stable joints depend on the strength of the surrounding ligaments, tendons and muscles to move with control and precision.

Joints function interdependently, with each affecting the alignment of the others up and down the body. When one joint is not functioning properly because of an ankle injury or illness like diabetes, other joints strain to compensate. This often leads to a body under stress, causing inflammation, stiffness and pain.

Ankles are the foundation of the body’s kinetic chain, so the functionality of all the joints above depends on ankle function. Ankle mobility is primary for balance and postural control as well as supporting foot stability and strength of the lower leg. Multiplanar training may be the best method for strengthening these hard to treat areas.

The sensory nerves embedded in and around joints create a sense of body awareness. This is a crucial first step to moving with balance and control through ever-changing environments.

Nerves

Proprioceptive sensory nerves are found in ligaments, joint capsules, tendons and muscles. They constantly send sensory information to the brain about where joints and limbs are in space. These nerves are sensitive to changes in length, tension, speed and angles. Range of motion training increases the quality of these signals to improve proprioceptive abilities foundational for gait, balance and coordination.

Moving through a full range of motion also activates and strengthens motor nerves for quicker reaction times.

Muscles

Muscle strength relies on how well joints function. The quality of the sensory input provided from joints largely determines how muscles respond to stay upright and balanced even on dynamic terrain. The ability to quickly detect and correct the loss of balance is critical to prevent a devastating injury or fall.

Fixing the Foundations

Joints are the foundation of movement and balance. With each step you take, feet and ankles are also the foundation of the entire body and kinetic chain.

Joints work interdependently with the function of each one affecting the function of the other. This makes foot and ankle function crucial to be able to walk, move and perform activities without pain.

With time, illness, injuries and surgeries it is common for joints to become painfully tight, while nerves wither and muscles shrink. Improving joint mobility and stability, especially at ankles, means you can experience the biggest movement improvements and pain relief in the least amount of time.

Reclaim your independence for life.

The world’s only multiplanar resistance trainer, MoveMor enables 360-degrees of free movement. Moving in a comfortable pain-free range of motion with 12-points of carefully designed resistance makes it simple for you to build joint mobility and stability at hips, knees, ankles and feet from one safely seated position.

This way more muscles, nerves and sensory systems are activated surrounding joints, so you can experience greater strength, more control and better balance.

This means more confidence with each step taken in all the directions life takes you. Whether it’s traveling the world or traveling upstairs, experience the true freedom of movement!
